We are excited that you have decided to join us as we travel on the journey of love that is rooted in the love of God through Jesus Christ. Since our inception in May of 2000, we have continued to minister to people through the gift of encouragement, faith, the Word of truth and pursuit of justice. "Reflecting and Healing through Words of Inspiration" has been our motto and focus in reaching a world that has been, bombarded with negativity and individualism. Our realization in this theme has been founded in 1 Corinthian 13:13, "...the greatest of these is love." There is no greater word or action than that of love.
We encourage you to take your time to discover what Essence of Love Ministries has to offer to help you fall deeper in love with the Lord, yourself, and others through the value of inspiring words. We hope to have you visit with us numerous times, whether you are looking to receive a Word from the Lord, a time of worship, community service, in need of ministry consulting services, or looking for a special asset. Essence of Love Ministries was birthed in May of 2000 as a means to minister to people through words of encouragement in the form of sermonic messages, poetic expression, stories and equipping people to move forward into what God has purposed them to do. It is our belief that this is achieved by continuing to seek a closer relationship with God through our Lord Jesus Christ by way of Divine revelation, understanding, reflecting and growing in the Spirit of love.
Our focus is on the distribution of writings and family emphasized events by Toya D. Booth. This would include sermons, novels, poetry, poetic consultation, blogs, greeting cards and family focused events with the same mission of encouraging others by glorifying Jesus Christ and manifesting in love. "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39

Our Transformation
As God has been faithful to give vision, purpose, and movement to EofL for over twenty years, the transformation was inevitable as our desire to grow, prosper, and remain a viable spiritual formation resource and ministry support is ever-present. "Reflecting and Healing through Words of Inspiration" has been our motto and focus in reaching a world that has been, bombarded with negativity and individualism. Our realization of this theme has been founded in 1 Corinthian 13:13, "...the greatest of these is love." There is no greater word or action than that of love. We desire to remain established in the love of Jesus Christ so that the fruit of our work will be the evidence of his love.
The Essence of Love Ministries entity will fall under the Essence of Love Global, LLC umbrella and continue to minister to people through the gift of encouragement, faith, the Word of truth, and the pursuit of justice. However, the overall business of EofL will be to align with Ephesians 4:15-16 - to Equip the Body of Christ and prepare for the Parousia of Christ. Our purpose founded in Ephesians 4:15-16 will be worked out to ensure every part works properly, encourage the Body’s growth in building itself up in love, equip believers for the work of ministry, and elevate individuals and organizations to flourish effectively and efficiently.

ONE WOMAN is designed to bring women together without the barriers of race, ethnicity, age, or geographical background. This is a time for women to come together to study, praise, worship, receive the Word of God and intercede in prayer to experience transformation and deliverance through the Holy Spirit.
Essence of Love Ministries held its first O.N.E. W.O.M.A.N. Convocation in August of 2010 at Highland Park Missionary Baptist Church. There was a great spiritual cry that God heard from his daughters (ages 10 years old and up) in Louisville during that time and he called Rev. Toya Booth to let His daughters know that He heard them and had an answer. Since then, Rev. Toya has gathered women from Kentucky, New York, Georgia, California, Indiana, Ohio, Texas, North Carolina, and Virginia to fulfill the mission to address the concern that God has for His beloved daughters in the area. Those who have preached, taught, and served have done so with willing hearts and great sacrifice in supporting the vision and understanding the call of God. Those who have responded to the call to serve and to receive the service have been blessed. The convocation was moved to April in 2013 by the prompting of the Holy Spirit and has now moved from one night of worship to two days. We do not know what the Lord has in store for this great gathering of women in the future, however, we know this - that wherever and whenever God sends One Woman - we will go. The 2023 ONE WOMAN Gathering, "Focused on Prayer", will convene during the month of November to focus on growing in our intention to communicate with the Lord. "Focused on Prayer" is a choice we make through all the challenges we are continuously faced in the world we live in every day. Together, we seek the Lord during Prayer, Bible Study, Personal Spiritual Growth and Self-Examination throughout the year. Join us as we focus this year on seeking the Lord through prayer by humbling ourselves, seeking the Lord's face, and aligning for change as One Woman, One Man and One Family. Thank you to the ladies who joined us for our 2023 One Woman Gathering on Friday, November 17th. We are grateful for you coming to the gathering with hearts open to receive and willingness to give during our sister check-in. Together, we move in the charge given to us to live life more abundantly. We live abundantly in Jesus Christ with transformed minds, by speaking the word of truth, and walking boldly in faith! This year we will introduce The ONE MAN Convocation, for God has heard the cries of his sons and has answered with "Boots On The Ground" in 2016. We commission the boys and men in Louisville, surrounding areas, and traveling from afar to "...drop every extra weight, every sin that clings to us and slackens our pace, and let us run with endurance the long race set before us" -Hebrews 12:1b (The Voice).
The first ONE MAN Convocation, "Boots On The Ground", was held in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Highland Park Missionary Baptist Church, located at 3700 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY 40216. Thank you to all of our brothers that entered the sanctuary and received the charge to place "Boots On The Ground!" One Family: All Become One

Essence of Love Ministries seeks to provide awareness for health concerns important to our local and global communities. By providing the education necessary to understand various diseases and offering resources to address these diseases, we hope to contribute to knowledge, healing, and sustainable care.
